Buenos Aires in one day
Buenos Aires in one day
We’ll pick you up from your accommodation and take you in a full day experience to discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view. Do not expect to just sit and listen: be prepared to talk, ask questions, and discuss the past, present, and future of Argentina’s capital.
Who were the first inhabitants? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? Why is the city split into North (rich) and South (poor)? Was really Buenos Aires “the Paris of the South”?
Was Argentina ever a world economic power? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the “desaparecidos” during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar?
These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer on our day ride through Buenos Aires, “the capital of an Empire that never existed”.
